Applications DBA
I am working with a top 10 contributor to Lloyds firm who are on the lookout for a Applications DBA to join them on a permanent basis. They have over 600 employees and a global footprint across 150 countries.
This role is a hybrid role with 3 days based in either the London or Cheltenham office. You may have to get to both offices.
Are you an applications DBA who has experience in …
- Build and maintain SQL Azure and on-prem databases
- Build and maintain SQL Azure managed instances
- Provide database administration on existing on-prem SQL Servers (2012-2022)
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
- Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 – 2022 (inc Azure)
- Transact SQL
- MS Power platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
- JSON (JavaScript Object Notation)
- Knowledge of reporting dashboards / Power BI / SSRS
- Knowledge of API (Application Programming Interface)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Knowledge of MS Office 365
- Understanding of Active Directory
