Data Migration Consultant- Talend
If you are a Data Integration Engineer, Data Migration Engineer or a Talend Consultant with a track record of large-scale data migrations we have an exciting new contract opportunity for you.
This role falls OUTSIDE IR35 for an initial 6 month contract.
Ideally the client would like someone to attend site on occasion.
The aim of the role is to act as the technical expert throughout the delivery of a Product lifecycle management transformation program (PLM) The main duty is to be the technical liaison between the business & the supplier, helping to deliver interface development changes and to complete the data migration to ensure the project is completed across the group.
- Deliver interface development changes as necessary.
- Migrate data from spreadsheets into the new system (beCPG)
- Act as liaison between the business and supplier ensuring requirements are understood fully.
- Must be a subject matter expert in Talend.
- Must have exposure to MariaDB or MySQL.
- Any exposure to the beCPG product would be extremely beneficial but not mandatory.
- Involvement in PLM/Business applications transformations as technical consultant is mandatory.
- Experience delivering API based interfaces.
