Devonshire Hayes have been engaged by a client to source an experienced Desktop Support Engineer with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with users at all levels including VIPs.
Please note this role falls inside IR35.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Extensive maintenance and support of Citrix End User Computing Environment, including hosted XenDesktop, Citrix delivered persistent VDIs and XenApp published applications.
- Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, hardware and software installation and configuration.
- Liaising with staff on all desktop support issues, triage of IT Operations tickets, calls and walk ups where required.
- Daily morning and evening Infrastructure checklists to ensure the integrity and operation of various systems.
- Proactively monitor and assist with managing the entire I.T. estate, ensuring smooth operation and business continuity.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working within an ITIL environment.
