Service Desk Analyst

Are you an experienced Service Desk Analyst with a flare for providing excellent customer service and maintaining composure in a busy and demanding environment? We have a Service Desk Analyst role for a client based in Glasgow. The role will be onboarded remotely and would require office attendance 2-3 days per week, when the business goes back to hybrid working.

6 month contract (possible extension available)
£160 per day Inside IR35
Provide shift cover with current Service Desk operations between 07:30 – 18:00 Mon – Fri.

The Role:

  • Log all Incidents and Requests in LANDesk
  • Occasionally attend desktop’s for support
  • Maintain rapport with Customers, displaying a great understanding of their tickets

Key Experience/Skills:

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products including Office 2010 – 2016
  • Active Directory, Windows 10, H/W & S/W support
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Assertive, confident, positive and professional manner
  • Ability to deal with potentially stressful situations
  • Flexible and adaptable as the business demands
  • Ability to work in a team as well as on own
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail in logging support calls, updating call details and managing call closure
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • ITIL Foundation (desirable)
