Product Manager tops the jobs chart with 1,946 job openings, a median salary of £60,221 and a job satisfaction score of 4.2/5.
6 of the top 10 jobs in the UK are technology-related careers ranging from Enterprise Architect and Full Stack Engineer to Cloud Engineer and Business Development Manager.
Paying an annual salary of £71, 392, Enterprise Architect comes in number one with the highest median salary of all the 25 top jobs ranked by Glassdoor.
Despite Enterprise Architect’s earning the highest salaries, the most in demand role with over 3,000 job openings is Business Development Manager, which sits squarely at number 10 on Glassdoor’s ranking.
The two technology roles topping the job satisfaction chart with an average of 4.2 and a half out of 5 is that of Cloud Engineer and Mobile Engineer.
According to overall job satisfaction, the only technology jobs that dips below 4/5 is that of DevOps Engineer and Java Developer. The average job satisfaction for these two roles is 3.5 and a half out of 5. So, if we round up, all tech jobs are coming in with an average job satisfaction score of 4 or more out of 5.
The top 6 technology jobs ranked in Glassdoor’s top 10 best jobs of 2021 collectively have 9,594 job openings, an average salary of £54,626 and an average job satisfaction over 4 out of 5.
